Registrar Lock in Shared Website Hosting
If you purchase a Linux shared website hosting from our company, you’ll be able to manage all domain names registered through us via our Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to unlock any of them with only a few mouse clicks. All registrations will be displayed in alphabetical order in the Domain Manager section of the Control Panel and for each one of them you will see a small padlock sign. Clicking on it will show you the current security lock status. If the domain is locked and you’d like to transfer it away, you will just need to click once more and you’ll be all set. Locking a domain is just as easy and since the domain names are managed in the same location as the web hosting account itself, you won’t have to sign in and out of different systems.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you wish to transfer a domain name from our company to another registrar and you have a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to get the domain ready with just a couple of mouse clicks. All your domain registrations will be listed in a separate section of the Hepsia Control Panel – the exact same tool via which you will manage your hosting account. If a given gTLD or ccTLD supports the registrar lock feature, you’ll see a padlock icon. You can see whether the domain is locked or not by clicking on that icon once and you can modify the status by clicking once again. This is all it takes and there will be nothing else that you or we will need to do, so you can initiate the domain transfer procedure straight away. The change will take effect momentarily, so you will not have to wait for the status to change on WHOIS lookup sites.
